Astringe the lungs, astringe the intestines, generate saliva and soothe Ascaris. It is used for long cough due to lung deficiency, long dysentery and smooth intestines, deficiency of heat and thirst, Ascaris, vomiting, abdominal pain and biliary Ascaris.

Prunus mume (sieh.) Sieb. Et Zucc.  Dry near mature fruit. Harvest the fruits near maturity in summer and dry them at low temperatures until they turn black.

What is Black plum?

Black plum is the dry, nearly ripe fruit for the rose family plant plum Prunus mume(Sieb.)Sieb. ETZUCE.There are cultivated throughout our country, with most provinces in the south of the Yangtze River basin. It has the effect on collecting lung, astringent intestine, sheng jin and Ascaris. It is often used for lung deficiency and long cough, diarrhoea and dysentery, deficiency in heat and thirst, Ascaris vomit and abdominal pain. Black plum is spherical or flat spherical, 1.5 ~ 3cm in diameter, the surface of black or brown-black, wrinkled uneven.
